I have a 2000 civic lx (d16y7) Need serious second opinions?

Ok so I have a 2000 civic lx and I have two options lined up. (open to other if you got more). I can either get a b16a2 and swap it into my civic orr I can turbo it. Friends are saying go with the swap but I dont know what exactly I will need. But with a turbo its one kit I save up I buy it and install it done. So what are your opinions?
