Am I reading him right???? Please help me understand my guy!!!!! PLEEASE?

m c-ing a guy for like a month.. initially it started of in a very formal way, then he started flirting a wee bit during our 3rd or 4th meet., over sm time, we strted talking about a lot of things and i told him abt my past relship which prompted hm to open up his, how he fell deeeply in lov with a girl and how she lied to hm and cheated hm, tht was sm 3-4 months back. out of natural curiosity i asked him how he was able to get over that love so quickly and start getting romantic with another person again (since from my exp i had taken a little more than that to compose myself). I understood that we wer nt th same people, so didnt bring that up again.. however this triggered some sense of guilt in him and since then he seems a little cautious. its all very formal again, now since we are over a month old, i ws hopng we could get a little closer and informal as i really like that guy. I spoke to him plainly regarding my concerns, he agreed to th chang in his behavr, and said he went overbord initly, and tht he apprectd my honesty in lettng him knw. and tht i shd evr stay like ths (honst). and also tht i shudnt do anythng out of my way to force tht informlity into ths rel. Is ths good. what can i do to make him feel secure again? and most importantly is his behaviour normal/accptble?
