Tumors around the tail of my GSD? Vets, Please. Or those who have been through this.?

My Mason is 8 years old, not a gray hair on his body, has one fast one slow growing tumor around the base of his tail. Yes he has been to the vet, they are not fatty tumors. No he is not neutered. I would like to know of similar situations of male dogs and what you did. Or if by a vet, what are some of the pros and cons of surgery on this sort of thing. My brain tells me there is much more to these tumors than meets the eye. The area, the fact he is not neutered, and some prostate problems that tend to recur. This animal is the love of our lives, but hubby has been out of work for a year. We need some honest and knowledgeable information. Cost, prognosis, and quality of life. These questions I am also putting to my vet.

In regards to your test taking..does your school have a program for student with disability? If so, they'll be able to provide you help in taking your test through proctoring-- it allows you to take your test with extra time. I know my school has it and its called DPSS (Disability Program Student Services) which I utilize myself. My GPA went from 2.5 to 3.8 just by being able to take my test with extra time. No discrete uterine m lesion is shown. No gross submucosal abnormality is demonstrated. The right ovary appeared normal measuring 1.8cc in volume. left ovary was difficult to identify. What i take to be the left ovary is o.3cc in volume. There is no adnexal m or free fluid. in the pouch of douglas. could someone please tell me what this means as i do not know? my friend is worried as the dr told her to see a gynacologist because of this does anyone know if this is somethink to worry about ? thankyou

First of all - ALL your cats need to be altered without delay! From what you are saying, they probably will all learn to get along then. However, you may have to put up with a few squabbles while they are jockeying for position in the "pecking order". One will probably end up being the "boss". I got our cats from a shelter and the largest one, 7 year old Spooke (the big Kahuna) very definitely is the "alpha" cat. Make sure they all have plenty of places to sleep and let them go unless they are seriously injuring each other. Spookie gets into a fuss with Miss Peaches every now and then. She is only 3 and defies him by growling at him. Hang in there - they will eventually forget that they ever were not a cat family. BUT GET THEM ALL ALTERED.
